Sheet metal bending service

Sheet metal bending with an ACCURL press brake – Renomont Bydgoszcz

Bending is the process of forming a sheet. Press brakes, or edgebanders, are used to shape sheet metal by means of a knife that presses it against the die. The press brake allows you to bend sheet metal at any angle.

Our machine is a state-of-the-art press brake equipped with numerical control (CNC), which significantly speeds up work and ensures the accuracy and repeatability of bending.

Original tools (punches and dies) allow us to offer a wide range of services – their quantity and type is successively replenished.

The ACCURL SMARTFAB B 25110 provides, among others:

  • Maximum load: up to 110 tonnes
  • Maximum bending length: up to 2,500 mm
  • Equipped with the DELEM Offline Profile-TL System
  • CNC control of Y1, Y2, X, R axes
  • Programming of length and any bending angle, as well as simulation of the bending process
  • Axis corrections for product and step, compensation for table deflection
  • Laser bending pointer
  • SIEMENS Standby-ECO Energy Saving System
  • The safety of the machine is ensured by Fiessler AKAS.

Sheet metal bending on presses – Renomont Bydgoszcz

Press bending is the most common way to shape bent products. If you want to bend sheet metal efficiently and effectively, a press brake is the best choice. The use of CNC technology in modern press brakes allows for high bending accuracy, high repeatability and maximum processing speed. Bending sheets using a CNC press brake makes it possible to generate complicated shapes while maintaining high accuracy of manufactured elements. Regular, galvanised, stainless and aluminum steel are those most often processed. Press brakes can handle both thin as well as thick sheets perfectly.
CNC sheet metal bending – Renomont Bydgoszcz

CNC bending of sheet metal in press brakes is done along one edge. The bending process is carried out using two tools: a punch and a die. The bending radius is determined by the radius of the punch. CNC controls the movement of the guide rail to which the punch is attached. The computer calculates the height to which the punch should be lowered so that when it returns to the upper position, the bending angle reaches the set point. Numerically controlled bumpers that CNC edge machines are equipped with are used to set the workpiece in a way that the punch precisely hits the bending line. This solution allows you to obtain a shelf with a set height. The controller calculates the bumper position coordinates based on the workpiece geometry entered into the system by the operator. This significantly reduces human error in the process. The CNC press brake is equipped with deflection arrow compensation systems.

For highly complex (non-programmable) shapes, the press brake is equipped with a laser bending line, which allows manual bending without the use of bumpers.
